Recently, I was tree stump grinding in Haverhill, Suffolk. The garden had a few stumps that needed to be disposed of, due to a new fence being erected in the garden. Five conifer stumps were to be removed in the front garden and one tree stump in the back garden.
Access to the front garden was absolutely no problem at all and the five tree stumps were quickly removed with our Predator radio remote stump grinder. A bit more care had to be taken for the back garden as there was an artificial lawn which looked very prestigious! A couple of 8 x 4 boards were placed on the lawn to avoid damaging the artificial grass.
The tree stump grinder is very light on lawns due to it being on rubber tracks that give a lightweight feel, as in pounds per square inch. The issue with artificial lawns is that I can’t turn on the lawn as it potentially moves the artificial turf. Traditionally, with traditional lawns, I can turn carefully on the turf without doing very much damage, but with artificial turf, the whole lawn can potentially move, hence the need for boards.
You can see in the photographs that the area is left clean and tidy.
